Capt. Red Miller Is Missing in Action Over Burma
MENOMONIE—Captain Donald Miller is reported as missing in action over Burma, according to a telegram received by his wife Sunday. Since he left the States in October, he has been based in India.

Better known as "Red," he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Miller. His wife is the former Mary Helen McGuinness, who with her small son, is living with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McGuinness.

Before leaving the States, he was stationed as Operations Officer at Cross City, FL. From May 1942 until he was sent to Cross City in June 1943, he was stationed at Orlando. He received his promotion to Captaincy last July.

In recent letters to his family here, Captain Miller told of being ill at a hospital in India, but that he was getting better and anxious to be back to work. Mrs. Miller believes that this flight of February 14 could be the first since his illness.
